The Edit menu commands apply only to the current object. Because there are different types of objects, some functions may apply only to certain types. Unless specific types are stated below, you can assume the command applies to all types of objects.

Create |
Start a new object. Select Create every whenever you want to start a separate object. |
Automodel |
Use AutoModel to trace the radial axis of a tubular structure in three dimensions. Select Edit | AutoModel from the menu to open the AutoModel Options menu. AutoModel requires that you give it at least one point to start for each object, and lets you monitor the progress of its search. |
Delete |
Delete the current object. |
Delete Points |
Delete the points list from the object without deleting the whole object. (This applies to line-type objects only.) |
Delete Dots |
Delete the dot list from the object without deleting the whole object. A dot list is a special extra list of points that can be added onto any object type. |
Split |
Cut the current object into two objects. The cut is made at the current point. (This applies to line-type objects only.) |
Paste |
Select two objects to paste together. Use Paste to enter the object numbers and set the current point of each object to the points that you want to connect. |
Flip |
Reverse the order of the points in the object so that the last point becomes the first point and vice versa. (This applies to line-type objects only.) |
