Convolution Settings

Use the Convolution tool to perform basic digital filtering, such as high-pass and low-pass filtering. When you select a filter, the fields in this dialog box are updated to indicate the kernel values.

Open Convolution by choosing Filter | Convolution from the main softWoRx menu. Then specify input data and output parameters as shown in Image Input and Output and select a filter.

Notes

  • You may add or change convolution kernels to the list by modifying the CONVOLUTION_FILTERS file in the softWoRx configuration directory. Use the Revise Convolution Kernels menu item within the softWoRx Utilities menu to access this file.
