These labels and fields provide information about the current object.
Field |
Description |
Current Wave |
The wave that you are modeling in. |
Current Object |
The number of the Current Object. |
Current Point |
The current point in a line segment. (Enter point numbers in this field or use the arrows under Current Point Manipulation in the 3D Model dialog box to change the current point.) |
Line Width |
Allows you to set the line width of the current object. Line Width can be applied to a regular string object, or if the object has a radius, and therefore is a cylinder, the wire framed cylinder can have different line widths. If you have created a wire frame object in 3D Object Builder, that object can also have various line widths. |
Current Time |
The time that you are modeling in. |
Object Length |
The length of the current object. |
Total Points |
The total number of points the object contains. |
Set Width All Object |
Applies the number that you enter for Line Width to all objects. |
Global Model |
Puts all the objects from every wave into one list so that they are displayed at once and numbered uniquely. Use this option with multiple wavelength (not time) data if you have all unique objects throughout all the waves and do not want any two objects to have the same number. Note By default, a separate object list is kept for each wave and time point, where the first object in each set is object 1. This lets you view any of the waves objects separately or all at once. It also means that you can watch your model move through time because the same object appears on each list in a different orientation at each time. |
