Designing Photokinetic Experiments

If your DeltaVision system is equipped with an optional Laser Module, you can design and run photokinetics experiments that use methods such as:

• FLIP (Fluorescence Loss In Photobleaching)  

• Single Point FRAP (Fluorescence Recovery After Photobleaching (FRAP))

• Multi-point FRAP

• Photo Activation

• Pattern Bleaching

To perform these experiments, you will first need to configure and align the lasers and capture some test images before you run the experiment.

Then create and run a photokinetics experiment. You can use the PhotoKinetics tab on the Design/Run Experiment window to create the experiment macro. If you are proficient with writing your own macros for DeltaVision, you can create macros without using Design/Run Experiment.
