Description

Wavelengths

Allows you to choose the "current" wavelength in the Image window to which Display Attributes settings apply. Many of the display parameters (such as Image Scaling) can be applied to only one wavelength at a time.

Z Section

Shows the number of the Z section that is displayed.

Z Step

Can be used to specify how many sections to step when you use the middle and right mouse buttons to move through sections in the image window.

Time Step

Can be used to set a particular time point. This option is displayed only for multiple time point images.

Image Scaling

The scale factors (minimum, maximum, exponent) used to display the data. See About the Intensity Scale for details about the scale parameters.

Zoom Factor

The current Zoom level of the image.

Interpolate Zoom

If Interpolate Zoom is on, the image is bilinearly interpolated (smoothed) when the zoom level is greater than one. Interpolated images take longer to display than uninterpolated images.

Scale Bar Attributes

The Scale bar is the line in the Image window that indicates the scale of the image. You can set the length, position and appearance of the scale bar by changing the Scale Bar Attributes settings.

Displayed

If Displayed is off, the scale bar is not displayed in the Image window. If it is on, the scale bar is displayed.

Vertical

Activating this check box displays the scale bar as a vertical line. Otherwise the scale bar appears as a horizontal line.

Show Value

Activating this check box displays the set value of the scale bar. When not activated, no value is displayed.

Position

The Image window coordinates, in pixels, of the lower left corner of the scale bar. You can change the position by typing new values or by clicking Move.

Move

Allows you to graphically change the scale bar position by clicking Move and then clicking a point in the Image window where you want the left end of the scale bar to be located.

Length

The length of the scale bar in the units of image pixel spacing (microns, for instance). Type a new value to change the length of the scale bar.

Color

The color of the scale bar. Choose a different color by clicking the color name and selecting a color from the menu.

Thickness

The thickness, in pixels, of the scale bar. A typical thickness is three pixels.

Done

Closes the Display Attributes dialog box.
