The Scatter Plot Graph

Use the Ratio Graph to display the intensity of a channel relative to the intensity of another channel. This can be useful in studies such as colocalization. It is also helpful when you are using ratiometric dyes.

Open Ratio graph by selecting the Ratio option and then clicking Show Ratio Graph in the Data Inspector window. To populate the graph, click on a point in the Image window and, with the mouse over the window, press the space bar.

File Menu

The File menu contains the following three choices:

Use

To...

Save As JPEG

Save the scatter plot graph as a JPEG file.

Print Setup...

Customize how the graph is printed by choosing options in the Graph Print Preferences dialog box.

Print

Send a print job directly to a printer or create a PostScript file for later printing.

Close

Close the Ratio Graph window.

 

Graph Menu

The Graph menu contains the following options:

Use

Add Optional Title

Add a title to be displayed under the default title at the top of the graph.

Reset Axes to Default

Reset the axis scaling to the default values.

Properties

Shows the properties of the graph and allows you to set preferences for Widget, Axes, Data Group, Graph Area, Legend, Markers, Text Areas, and Title.

 

 

Point Labels

Use the Point Labels menu options to modify how selected points are labelled on the graph.

Show Labels

Choose whether or not to display labels when a point is selected.

Remove All Labels

Remove all of the labels currently being shown.
