Open an image in the Image window and choose Tools | Arbitrary Profile.
Click and drag on the image to display a line profile.
In the Intensity Scaling list, choose one of the following options for scaling the profile.
Constant Min/Max sets the scale range to the minimum and maximum intensity values in the image.
Autoscale sets the range to the minimum and maximum intensity values in the profile.
To save a group of profiles in a spreadsheet-compatible text file, click Save after each profile that you want to save is displayed. When you are finished collecting profiles, click Write to File, enter the file name and other options in the Save as SYLK spreadsheet window, and click OK.
