You can view movies that display image data in a window as a sequence of movie frames. This can be particularly useful when looking at volume-rendered data or a sequence of time points.
Movies greatly enhance the analysis of certain types of image data. When used on a volume rendering, movies show the relationships between objects in 3-D space. When used with a time-lapse data file, movies allow you to visualize the course of events captured in the study.
Use Movies to display the following types of data:
Time points in a time-lapse series
Z sections in a Z series
Time points in a time-lapse Z series
Time series of projections rendered from time-lapse Z series
Traces of particle movement in time-lapse image data.
