The QLM Estimated Spot Sizes dialog box displays estimated spot sizes for the four Beam Expander positions.
To open the QLM Estimated Spot Sizes dialog box, Open the Resolve3D Settings window and select the QLM tab. Then click the Spot Sizes Button.
The four Beam Expander positions are displayed under Expander.
For each Beam Expander position, the Beam Radius field shows the corresponding radius (in mm) of the laser beam, as measured at the back aperture of the objective.
The values under each objective magnification (shown as 10X, 20X, etc.) are the estimated radii (in microns) of the spots on the sample that correspond to each beam expander position.
The default radii of the spot sizes are based on equations provided by objective manufacturers. If you measure the spot sizes for an objective, you can reset the table to reflect the measured values by changing the Beam Radius field values.
