Use the Point List window to manage a list of marked points that can be visited interactively or as part of an experiment.
Open Point List by clicking
or by choosing
View | Point
List on the Resolve3D window.

Mark Point |
Add the current stage X,Y,Z location to the end of the list.
Note: Alternative ways of marking a point include the tool button above the X-Y arrow buttons on the Resolve3D Stage View, the right-mouse button popup menu (available anywhere on the main Resolve3D control panel window), and the keypad that is attached to the microscope. |
Visit Point |
Move the microscope stage to the point that is selected in the point list. An image is acquired after the stage moves to the selected point.
Note: Alternatively, double-clicking one of the list items visits the point, as will double-clicking on a displayed point in the Resolve3D Stage View. |
Delete Point |
Delete the selected point from the list. |
Replace Point |
Replace the selected point with the stage's current location. |
Clear List |
Remove all of the entries in the current point list. |
Compact List |
Reorders point numbering after points have been deleted. |
Save List |
Save the current point list as a file on the Instrument Controller. (You will need to remember the name of the list so that you can open it later.) |
Open List |
Open a saved list. (Point lists can be stored on the Instrument Controller computer.) |
Calibrate All |
Visit each point in the list and perform UltimateFocus calibration. |
Optimize List |
Optimize the point list order to minimize stage travel. |
Done |
Close the Point List window. |
