Use the toolbar at the top of the Resolve3D window to acquire an image, create an experiment macro, and choose Resolve3D display, imaging, and file settings.

Acquire

Collect and display an image from the microscope with the current settings. This image is only displayed in the Data Collection window. It is not saved in a disk file for later use. Tip Clicking the mouse button with the mouse pointer on the Resolve3D window opens a pop-up menu with several useful commands. |
Continuous
Acquire |
Open the Continuous Acquire window to collect and display images continuously. These images are displayed only; they are not saved in a disk file. See Continuous Acquire Parameters for details. |
Snapshot

Launch a tool that allows you collect a single 2-D, multi-wavelength "Snapshot" image using the current settings. If you need to collect a Z series, time-lapse image, or other complex scheme, you will need to design an experiment with the Resolve3D Experiment Designer. |
