To record statistics for an area:
From the Data Inspector window, choose File | Save Statistics Record.
In the Selection field, enter a new file name (or determine an old file to overwrite with the new data), then click OK.
Select the area in the Image window for which you want to display statistics. The selected area is displayed as a blue rectangular box in the Image window.
Press the space bar to record the selected area's statistics. The recorded statistics are wavelength, X and Y location, spot diameter, selection box width, total number of points used for statistics generation, minimum intensity, maximum intensity, mean intensity, total intensity, and standard deviation.
Repeat Steps 3 and 4 to record as many points as desired.
