Select Polygons

Use Edit Polygon to select irregular polygon areas in an image file. This allows you to:

• Select data for 3D models or volume projections.

• Copy selected data to another file.

• Get statistics for selected areas.

Edit polygon provides tools that you can use:

To draw polygons:

1. Choose Model | Edit Polygon on the main softWoRx menu.

2. Click a polygon option (e.g., freehand) on the Edit Polygon window.

3. Select the Guided Select option to automatically find the borders around objects (based on changes in intensity values).

4. Draw the polygons on the Image window. Scroll through the Z sections and draw a polygons to define the object.

5. Choose File | Save and save the 2D polygons that you created in the Save Polygon File dialog box.
