Stitch Options

Use the Stitch tool to superimpose images that are organized as either a series of time-points or Z sections. Each time-point, or Z section, is treated as a panel of the stitched image.

Use theResolve3D Panel Collection feature to obtain images suitable for stitching.

Pixel Size

Shows the current XY pixel size, in micrometers.

Area

Shows the area covered by the stitched image.

Notes

  •  Image stitching is only possible with DeltaVision image files that contain a series of images, along with a corresponding set of XY coordinates.

  •  Because stitching is based on DeltaVision XY Stage coordinates, the pixel size in the image header must be accurate to achieve successful stitching. If necessary, use the Edit Image Header dialog box to modify the image pixel size and stage coordinates.

  •  Stage coordinates are not present in image files prior to version 2.00 of Resolve3D. You cannot add stage coordinates to an existing image.
