To enable or disable Lost Motion Compensation (LMC):

  1. From the Resolve3D window, click the Settings Icon_Settings.jpg icon to open the Resolve3D Settings window.

  2. Click the Misc tab.

  3. To enable LMC, select the Allow Lost Motion Compensation (LMC) option.

  4. To disable LMC, clear this option.

Note:  LMC removes the effect of hysteresis in the stage. It should be selected for most applications. When it is turned off, the Z series range may shift. You can disable LMC to improve speed at the expense of position repeatability.
