To select excitation and emission filter wheels:

When using a xenon arc lamp as your DeltaVision broadband light source, you must configure your system for alternate filter wheels and physically install those filter wheels before you select them. (See the DeltaVision Imaging System User's Manual for additional information.)

If your Eyepiece Filter Wheel auto configuration is not working, you can use the following instructions to manually select the filter wheels.

CAUTION:  Manually changing the Eyepiece Filter Wheel in this way can leave the system out of sync. To synchronize the system automatically, disconnect and reconnect the eyepiece filter wheel cable.

  1. From the Resolve3D window, click the Settings Icon_Settings.jpg icon to open the Resolve3D Settings window.

  2. On the Misc tab, choose the filter wheels in the Excitation Filter Wheel list, the Emission Filter Wheel list, and the Eyepiece Filter Wheel list.

  3. Click the Reinitialize Filter Wheels button.

  4. When prompted, make sure that the filter wheels are physically connected to the system. Then click OK.

    5. The cursor changes to an hourglass as the system initializes the filter wheels.

  5. After the cursor changes from the hour glass to its normal state, click Done.
