To set acquisition parameters:

Before you acquire an image, you will need to specify which objective lens to use, and the output directory for the image.

  1. Start softWoRx by double clicking on the desktop or selecting GE Healthcare | Start softWoRx from the Linux CentOS button.

  2. Choose File | Acquire (Resolve3D) to open the Resolve3D window.

  3. In the Lens field, indicate which objective you are using.

  4. If you are using the auxiliary magnification slider, activate the Aux. Mag. check box.

  5. Click the Settings icon to open the Resolve3D Settings window.

  6. Click the Files tab and enter the output directory (e.g., /data1/userfolder) in which you want to save your images in the Data folder field. To create a new folder, type the name of the folder (e.g., /data1/yourNewFolder)and click OK at the prompt. (If you are using an existing folder for your Data Folder, you can drag and drop the folder from the Linux File Manager to the Data folder field.)

  7. To reset the default Data folder when you log out, select the Data folder is temporary option.

  8. Click Save Settings. Then click Done to close the Resolve3D Settings window.

    Note:  Store all files in the /data1 directory unless you are instructed otherwise by your system administrator.
