Color Options in Basic Color Mode  

In Basic Color mode, you can view up to three channels in the Image window simultaneously. For each channel, intensity values are assigned a value between 0 and 255. You cannot view four color channels simultaneously. Only the primary colors (red, green and blue) are available to view three channels. If you select any other colors (e.g., cyan, magenta, or yellow), the two colors used to create these mixtures will be disabled for the other channels and they will be turned off (Black). This means that Cyan, Magenta, or Yellow can be viewed in combination with only one other color, as shown below.

Note You can view up to five colors simultaneously in Blended Color mode. You can also view images with more than three channels in Grayscale mode by viewing each channel separately.
